Key features of NissanConnect
With NissanConnect, the future of driving is not just about getting from point A to point B; it’s about staying connected, entertained, and safe every mile of the journey. Here are some of the main ways in which it makes every ride more enjoyable.
Seamless Smartphone Integration
NissanConnect offers seamless integration with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing drivers to connect their smartphones directly to the vehicle’s infotainment system and mirror their screen on the interactive display. This integration enables access to apps, music, contacts, and more through your car’s touchscreen or voice commands. You can make calls, send and receive messages, and use navigation apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps without taking your eyes off the road.
Advanced Navigation System
The built-in navigation system in NissanConnect provides real-time traffic updates, turn-by-turn directions, and points of interest. The system also offers 3D maps and voice guidance, ensuring that you reach your destination efficiently and safely. Some models come with additional features like speed limit warnings and eco-routing to suggest the most fuel-efficient routes.
Enhanced Audio Experience
NissanConnect enhances the in-car audio experience with access to various music and radio services. Drivers can stream music from their favourite apps such as Spotify, Apple Music, and TuneIn Radio, or listen to DAB digital radio for high-quality sound. The system supports Bluetooth audio streaming, allowing anyone on board to play their playlists wirelessly.
Voice Recognition
The voice recognition feature in NissanConnect allows you to control various functions without taking your hands off the wheel, and also syncs with Google Assist and Amazon Alexa. By using simple voice commands, you can make phone calls, set destinations in the navigation system, play music, and even control climate settings, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel.
Remote Services
NissanConnect technology continues With the NissanConnect Services app, you’ll be able to access a range of remote features. These include remote start, locking and unlocking the doors, and finding the vehicle’s location in a crowded car park. The app also provides vehicle health reports and maintenance alerts, helping you keep your Nissan car in top condition.
Safety and Security
NissanConnect incorporates several safety and security features designed to protect both the driver and the vehicle. Emergency Call (eCall) automatically contacts emergency services in the event of a severe accident, providing the vehicle’s location and other vital information. Additionally, the system can alert the driver to potential issues with the car, such as low tyre pressure or engine warnings, helping to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe driving.
